Tokyo Ghoul - Review

Genre: Action / Drama / Horror / Supernatural
No. of episodes: 12
My Rate: 8.5/10

Cannibalism. That's one word that can describe this anime. I actually enjoyed watching as it hit me right in the feels. It's not like all Ghouls like to eat people! All they wish for is to have a normal life and be accepted into the society, however all 'normal' people are against ghouls, that's why they have to hide and wear masks. The opening breaks my heart as it seem like the person singing is in pain especially at the beginning. Perfect Choice of Song!! In addition they can't enjoy food and can only survive while eating human flesh. Let's move to the graphics - beautful and amazing, however why did they censored everything?? Sometimes you don't actually see what's happening 'cause whole screen is black!!

Plot:
Kaneki Ken is a normal college student who has a great passion towards books. One day, in a coffee shop called Anteiku he meets beautiful, purpled haired women - Rize. Kaneki wents on the date with her and realises that he shares the same interest as her. At the end of the day, when they walked back home, she attacks him. Powerless Kaneki, realises that she's a ghoul - a human-like person who lives by eating human flesh. Suprisely, Kaneki survives event though he nearly got eaten and was crushed by falling platform along with Rize. Kaneki survived as Rize's organs were transplanted to him. Unfortunately, he became a one-eye ghoul, unable to control himself. Kaneki doesn't want to be a ghoul and eat people but how can he survive?

Gokukoku no Brynhildr - Review

Genre: Drama / Horror / S-F / Detective
No. of episodes: 13
My Rate: 7/10

Witches with superpowers and aliens........a wierd mash-up with horror and s-f elements, along with some ecchi humour. The whole plot is amazing and unique which are truely amazing! Music and graphic on high level and with quite good characters. Honestly, the mystery behind the orgin of the withes and the problems that occured were extremely engaging. The plot was pulling me in to the anime however step by step the story line got worse. The authors weren't concentrating on the main objective and instead worked more on daily life of the characters, ecchi humour, and drama about "where to get the pills" and the serious stuff were all sqeezed in two last episodes. Therefore my rate got down on this anime....

Plot:
Murakami Ryoko had a childhood friend called Kuroneko, which he was deeply in love. They loved watching the sky at night using the telescope and Kuroneko always repeated that she saw an 'alien' once. However Ryota couldn't believe, so to prove it, she took him where she saw the alien. Unfortunately they fall from the cliff and only Ryota stayed alive. Years have past and Ryota keep watching the stars along with thinking about his first love and dreaming that she could be alive. Then one day, to his school a new girl transfered which looked excatly like his childhood friend yet under other name- Kurohaneko. When approching her (very loudly btw), she repeated multiple times that she doesn't know him and that he must have mistaken her with someone completely different. Afterwards she comes to Ryota's astronomy club, warning him  not to miss the bus or he will die. From curiosity, he misses the bus and walks home however he was nearly squashed by a large puddle of rock and mud yet saved by Kurohaneko who have supernatural powers and calls herself a witch.

Elfen Lied - Review

Genre: Action / Drama / Horror / Romance / Physchological Thriller
No. of episodes: 13
My Rate: 9/10

The opening from the beginning makes me feel nostalagic and sad - I don't know why. I was expecting just an anime that concentrates on blood and loose body parts as I experienced lots of disappointment when watching anime with my high expectations. Yet, the plot is truly amazing! I watched all episodes in one go with tears in my eyes. Maybe there's a bit of nudity and boobs (which I'm not a fan of) from time to time but I don't mind! However if you can't stand flying body parts or don't like nudity I will recommend you to think before watching.

Plot:
Story begins when pink-haired girl with horns called Lucy (subject of experiments) escapes from a laboratory situated beside the seacoast of Kamakura. She escaped by killing all the guards and other people who stand in her way using her suprnatural powers, additional yet invisible hands. When escaping her head was hurt as a result of sniper bullet. She is later found on the beach by two students Yuka and Kouta. HoweverLucy got amnesia and became a sweet little girl insted of a sadistic monster. She can only say one word - "Nyu". Students toke her home, yet the members of the laboratory are trying to get her - alive or not! Later is found that Lucy is a 'Diclonius', a human but with little horns on the head, but is able to control 'vectors' - arms that come from the back that can became powerful weaapons.

Pupa - Review

Genre: Horror / Drama
No. of Episodes: 12
My rate: 2/10

How is possible to destroy good idea? Well authors of this anime just did it very easily. Personally, as a horror fan, I think that this is the most horrible and worst anime ever........ever........ever -.-. Idea was certainly unique and interesting but I DON'T see that they put any effort to send the message to the audience or just engage! Two points I just gived for the idea, that's it I will NEVER recommend this anime. No atmosphere, short (4 min per ep), censored, no proper ending at all, storyline messed up, no proper opening adn the drawing style......I saw better ones. Yeah, full episode of a girl eating her brother, sooooo entertaining >.<

Plot:
Yume and Utsutsu Hasegawa are sibling who attend Highschool probably in Tokyo/Japan. Siblings are physically abused by their father constantly however mostly Utsutsu as he protects his younger sister at all times. One day Yume was going home from school  all by herself. She was stopped by a weird, black-dressed woman who warns Yume who later sees a red butterflies and transfers to a monster. She then feeds herself with her brothers as she can't stop her desire of eating humans.

Highschool of the Dead - Review

Genre: Horror / Romance / Adventure / Ecchi

No. of episodes: 12 episodes
My rate: 8.5/10

Are you ready for zombie apocalypse? Anime is really interesting, that you cannot be bored anytime! The action starts straight away in the first episode. If you like zombies, big boobs and violence - this is anime for you. In my opinion there's one minus (one thing that I disliked): to much freaking jumping boobs!

The story start in the Highschool in Japan. It seems like a normal day in school but suddenly something tries to cross the school gates. It was a zombie. Every minute there was more and more of them. The school started to panic. The main characters, highschool students and a nurse, try to survive zombie apocalypse and find their parents which some of them are on the other side of the town.

Higurashi no naku koro ni - Review

Higurashi no naku koro ni kai : 24 episodes

Do not judge a book by its cover! This anime may look sweet at first but isn't!!  If you don't have strong nerves don't watch it. This anime is brutal and psychedelic. I watched first four episodes and this anime creeped me out and it took me a week or two to watch it again LOL (series above are in order that should be watched and only sereies with plot are mentioned)

Anime takes place in small village in Hinamizawa. Mostly the story is about Keiichi Maebara who had moved to this village. He very easily founded friends and he lived well ^.^ Not for very long because in the village strange events have occurred and various secrets were hidden from him. His friends were getting more odd and suspicious.   -anime is little messed up but in the second serie everything is being explained ^^

Really good anime worth watching till the end. At the start I thought it was just magica girls that want to be superheroes and they transform but is more than that and much darker. I want to say one thing: 'Never become a magical girl! NEVER!'

Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan) - Review

Genre: Action / Drama / Fantasy / Horror
No. of episodes: 25

My rate: 10/10

Most popular anime in 2013! Last week the last episode came out! Worth watching, no boring episodes, interesting plot, lots of action. Became my favourite anime!

Plot:
Many, many years ago the humanity was attacked and eaten by giants called 'Titans'. They have no digestive system yet they eat people, probably for fun! A small procent of humanity survived and hide behind large walls which are bigger than the tallest Titan. Three walls are: Marie, Rose and Sina.

In the anime we're transfered to times where people haven't seen any Titan for 100 years within the walls. Eren and his step-sister Mikasa are witnesses of horrible incident. Giant, powerful titan appeared from no-where and destroy The Maria wall! Lots of Titans enter and attack all the citizens. Both children see their mother brutally eated by a Tiitan. Eren promises himself to destroy every Titan that exists and will make a revenge for what they have done to the humanity!

Genre: Supernatural / Horror / Mystery / Vampires
No. of episodes: 22
My rate: ?/10

I just watch half of it. I was watching this long time ago. I love horror and I'm alwas drawn in but here I get really distracted by the way the characters are drawn (mostly haisrtyles). It just pushes me off and I just needed to stop have way.
But overall anime have interesting horror story and it's quite creepy :)

There are more and more victims , and local doctor suspects that this is some unidentified disease, because they all have similar symptoms. Also a mysterious family -look like vampires- moved into a new house on the hill.

Mirai Nikki - Review

Genres: Romace / Drama / Horror / Action
No. of Episodes: 26

Very engaging, suprising and original anime but with we-bit irritating main character (as he cries a lot ). Also a cute insane girl that I just adore. I just couldn't stop watching this anime! It's one of my favourite ♥

Umineko no naku koro ni - Review

Genres: Drama / Horror / Mystery
No. of episodes: 26
My rate: 6/10

Anime from the same authors as from Higurashi no naku koro ni. As I thought, lots of blood and the story repeats every few episodes but differently. I'm still confused •_• Engaging and Mysterious anime with some blood >:D But still I'm webit dissapointed as I think that Higurashi was much better but that's just my opinion. Some part/scenes of the anime have no particular point than to extend the series. Solving mysteries along with the characters was very cool adn engaging, but at times it confused me, as Batler tried to prove how there is no magic involved yet some of his contradictions were pointless. In addition, somehow, the series is connected to Higurashi.

Plot:
It starts in 1986, in island named Rokkenjima owned by Kinzo, the head of the wealthy Ushiromiya family. All the members of the family visit the island as Kinzo will soon die. Adult members (his children) want to discuss how Kinzo's assets will be divided once he will be dead. Suddenly whole family is trapped in the island because of typhoon. Later one of the youngest member of the family, Maria Ushiromiya, receives a letter from a strange women that call herself Beatrice. Beatrice is a Gold Witch that once gived Kinzo lots of gold and that's why the Ushiromiya family is so rich. Maria reads the letter to all the family as she was told to.It states that Beatrice will take whole gold and money back and will kill all the family members; one by one. Nothing will happen only if witch's epitaph will be solved.
